In terms of sports betting for the weekend of July 10-12 at West Virginia sportsbooks, there are great UFC 251 promos, markets on a nearby PGA Tour event, and a full slate of club soccer matches. This weekend could be one of the busiest in terms of domestic sporting events in months.

All three WV sports betting apps have boosts live for Saturday’s MMA action. That isn’t the sum total of promos available, however.

UFC 215 betting promos for WV sports betting fans

The main card event for Sunday morning is Jorge Masvidal v. Kamara Usman, slated for 12 a.m. ET on ESPN. Accordingly, that’s where most of the promotional activity for WV sportsbooks lies.

BetMGM Sportsbook has boosted the odds of Masvidal winning by KO, TKO, or DQ to +450. FanDuel has a similar super-boost on Masvidal winning by KO or TKO. The odds on that wager have swung all the way up to +120 from -120.

DraftKings Sportsbook might have the best promo for this highly-anticipated bout, however, depending on how you wager. The WV sports betting crowd can take advantage of two 50% profit boosts, worth up to $250.

Although you can use the boosts on any of the fights on the UFC 251 card, there are some options for using both on Masvidal v. Usman. For example, Masvidal is a +200 underdog on the moneyline at DraftKings right now.

The round on the total rounds currently sits at 4.5, with the better action of +120 on the over. Should the bout go those ways, using the boosts on those wagers could turn into a nice payday.

BetMGM and FanDuel Sportsbook both also have boosted parlays on three fighters to win their bouts Saturday. Usman is one of those fighters at BetMGM, alongside Amanda Ribas and Alex Volkanovski at +160.

FanDuel has Ribas in its parlay as well but swapped in Rose Namajunas and Volkan Oezdemir. That parlay would pay out +200 if all three prevail.

If you don’t want to wait until Saturday to get your wagering started, the Workday Charity Open at the Muirfield Village Golf Club has you covered. WV betting apps are ready on that front as well.

Workday Charity Open boosts, odds

Just as the PGA Tour is back in swing this weekend, DraftKings hits the links with a 30% profit boost for the Workday Charity Open.

Just like with the UFC 251 boost, you can use the boost on any wager set on this weekend’s PGA action, even live bets and parlays. The wager you use the boost on can’t be greater than $50, however, and your profit boost won’t exceed $250.

While BetMGM and FanDuel aren’t offering any promos for the Open, both have a wide array of markets for the event. You won’t find markets involving Rocket Mortgage Classic winner Bryson DeChambeau, however.

DeChambeau decided to skip the Workday, making Golfweek/Sagarin rankings No. 2 Jon Rahm an interesting play for this weekend in outright and matchup markets. BetMGM has him +1400 to win this weekend, while DraftKings has him +1200, and FanDuel lists him +1600.

Rahm hasn’t impressed so far this year but Muirfield may be where he breaks out of the rut. The course plays well to his power and part of the reason he ranks so highly is that he’s currently seventh in shots gained off the tee.

If golf isn’t your area of wagering expertise, this weekend is highly anticipated for another reason. That’s the return of domestic club soccer.

MLS is Back, NWSL Challenge Cup odds

For the first time since last summer, both domestic club soccer leagues will have matches this weekend. WV sportsbooks have action on the pitch as well.

DraftKings has lines live for both of Sunday’s NWSL Challenge Cup matches, some of the last in seeding play before knockouts begin. Those markets include 3-way moneylines, Double Chance, Draw No Bet, goal totals, and props.

The underdogs in both matches are tempting. The Washington Spirit are +155 to win their match while the Chicago Red Stars are +260 to do the same.

Washington has had one of the best offensive attacks so far in the tournament and their opponent, the Houston Dash, has given up more goals than any other club so far. Chicago has an enormous amount of talent on its roster that is more than capable of getting a win in its final seeding round match.

BetMGM and FanDuel have markets on all the MLS is Back tournament action this weekend, including Saturday’s Columbus Crew vs. FC Cincinnati match. Columbus is an enormous favorite at both books on 3-way moneylines, but there are other opportunities.

For example, if you’re inclined to believe that playing in an empty stadium and rust will have an effect, BetMGM and FanDuel are offering +225/+270 odds on Under 1.5 total goals. In a similar fashion, a correct score wager on a 0-0 draw would pay out +700 at BetMGM and +10000 at FanDuel.

This weekend has something for everyone, from UFC 251 to domestic soccer. WV bettors should have no trouble finding lines to their liking.
